Promo Codes are another incentive that allows you to target and attract more guests, boost the number of direct bookings through your widget, give an additional push to agency sales - or achieve both at once.
Promo codes tab is located under the Prices module in the left navigation bar (applicable to Pro and Pro+ subscription plans).To start working with promo codes, check the box «Enable promo codes» on the Promo codes page.
Below you will find two tabs that show your active and inactive promo codes and their main characteristics.
If you already have promo codes, by clicking on the three dots menu on the right, you can duplicate, deactivate, edit, or delete the selected promo code
New Promo code setup
Click the «Create» button to the right of the corner
Enter a unique Code name (using letters or numbers, or a dash). Clicking the buttons to the right of the input field, you can either copy your code name or automatically generate a unique promo code
Enter Quantity number. Usage is counted by how many times the promo code has been applied in the widget booking cart, not by the number of spaces booked or bookings created
Enter the Discount amount. You can choose the percentage or currency in which you want to provide a discount (the currency of the discount must always match the currency of the vessel)
Indicate the “Available to” option. You can choose which customer categories you want to provide a discount to: Individual clients, Agencies, or both
Set the validity of booking period: Available all the time or Available within the date range (the promo code will be available when creating a booking only on these dates)
Set up usage restrictions
Indicate if you would like to combine the promo code with special offers
Indicate if you would like to combine the promo code with the loyalty program discount
Indicate if you would like the promo code to be applicable for charters
Indicate if you would like the promo code to be applicable for specific vessels
(If the promo code discount is specified in the currency, then the vessel settings become active automatically. In the dropdown, you can select vessels for which the currency is the same as the discount currency for the promo code)
Indicate if you would like the promo code to be applicable for specific products
Indicate if you would like the promo code to be applicable for trips within a limited date range (the promo code will be valid for trips on these dates)
During the booking process, if the operator has an active promo code and at least one guest is added, the “Have a promo code?” field will appear in the cart. The guest or agency can then enter a promo code, and the corresponding discount will be applied automatically.
In the created option/booking, the discount will be displayed under the other surcharges and discounts:
Tip: Any changes to the booking amount after an option or booking has been created - such as adding or removing guests, changing dates, or modifying extras, etc. - will not affect the discount applied by the promo code
