The Vessel
The AMBA is a 31-meter dive safari boat, built from solid tropical hardwood – a blend of German engineering and Maldivian craftsmanship. Operated by a German-Maldivian team with over 25 years of liveaboard experience, the AMBA is more than just a dive boat – it’s a passion project.
The owners live on board and personally lead each tour. No surprises-no excuses.

Accommodation
All cabins are air-conditioned, include private bathrooms with western-style toilets, and are designed for comfort and relaxation.
Cabin Categories:
Upper Deck Luxury Cabins (with private terrace): Double bed (convertible into two singles), private outdoor terrace with sun loungers
Upper Deck Cabins (without terrace): Double bed, bright and well-ventilated with large windows
Lower Deck Twin Cabins: Two single beds, ideal for friends or dive buddies
Lower Deck Double Cabins: Double bed, perfect for couples
Included Amenities: Daily housekeeping, high-quality linens and regularly renewed mattresses, fresh towels and soap
Dining & Comfort
Three freshly prepared meals daily. International, Asian, Maldivian, and Indian cuisine. Prepared by experienced chefs from Germany and the Maldives. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Afternoon live-cooking snack bar at the shadow deck.
Complimentary drinks: Dispenser-Water, tea, coffee, Dispenser-Juice, Kiosk with snacks, beer, wine, long drinks, and ice cream at fair prices.
Partially shaded sun deck with towel service and refreshing shower.
Diving Operation
The AMBA offers a high-end diving experience for certified and experienced divers, with a dedicated 16-meter dive dhoni. Nitrox included.

Direct airport pick-up with very comfortable front entry – no domestic flight required
5 wide entry and exit points with sturdy ladders
Freshwater showers and western-style toilets
Rinse basins for cameras, torches, computers, and gear

Diving Schedule & Requirements:
Up to 3 guided dives per day, including one night dive per trip
Max dive time: 60 minutes (air-dependent). Night dives 50 minutes
Ratio: 1 guide per 4-8 divers
Nitrox 32% included
Minimum requirements: 30 logged dives, confident in moderate currents, ability to ascend independently using a safety buoy in a buddy team.
Divers really appreciate that we gradually introduce all guests — even those who are already experienced — to faster descents and stronger currents, rather than throwing anyone in at the deep end, so to speak.
If needed, we offer refresher workshops on deploying surface marker buoys and using reef hooks. Guests feel comfortable and well taken care of, as we lovingly cater to each guest’s individual needs and wishes.
Itinerary: Ari, Vaavu, and Malé Atolls
Duration: 11 days / 10 nights.
Start/End: Directly from Malé (no domestic flights).
Diving Highlights: Colorful coral gardens, current-swept channels, thilas, giris, and steep walls, seasonal encounters with mantas and whale sharks.
