WeTravel Setup Guide

This guide explains how to configure WeTravel to connect it to the Inseanq system

Log in to your account

Go to: wetravel.com. Click “Sign In” button, enter your Email and Password to sign in.

Create API Key

Navigate to Account page → Partner API Integration -> Revoke/Generate API Key: https://wetravel.com/user/account/profile

Create a Webhook

  • Click “Add Endpoint”

  • Fill in the fields:

  1. Description: (optional) e.g. Successfully paid

  2. Events: select the following events:

  • booking.created,

  • booking.updated,

  • payment.created,

  • payment.updated,

  • transaction.created,

  • transaction.updated

  • Click the “Create” button

Revoke the API Key

  • Open the Account page → “Partner API integration” and click the “Generate API Key” button

  • Copy API key

Create a Payment Method in Inseanq

In your Inseanq profile, go to “Settings” “Payment Methods” “Create”. Fill in the following fields:

  • Type: Select Payment by card

  • Currency: select the currency of your WeTravel account

  • Payment system: Select WeTravel

  • API Key: Paste the API Key from WeTravel, which you created in Step 2. In the WeTravel profile, navigate to “Account” → “Partner API integration” and copy the “API Key” field

  • Webhook Signing secret key: Copy the Signing secret key from the WeTravel webhook that you created in Step 3. In the WeTravel profile, navigate to “Account” → “Webhooks” → click on the created Webhook → find the “Signing secret key” block

  • Fill in the “Company details” section

  • Save payment method

Done! 🎉

After completing these steps, WeTravel is connected and ready for processing payments inside the Inseanq system. Complete account verification and add a payment method to activate your WeTravel account for live payments.
