Kefi Safari operates in the Maldives. The vessel was built in 1994, refurbished in 2018, and has benefited from continuous maintenance to ensure guest comfort.
Accommodation
The fully air-conditioned accommodation consists of 5 cabins, including double, twin, and triple occupancy, all featuring private shower and toilet facilities. Up to 14 guests can be accommodated on board, with meals served in the outdoor restaurant, while various areas on the main and upper decks are available for relaxation. The onboard language is English.

Three freshly prepared meals are served daily, featuring international, Asian, Maldivian, and Indian cuisine. Meals are prepared by experienced chefs from Sri Lanka. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
Complimentary drinks include dispenser water, tea, coffee and dispenser juice. A kiosk is also available with snacks, beer, wine, long drinks and ice cream at reasonable prices.
The upper deck features a sun deck with towel service and a refreshing shower.
Itinerary, Arrival & Departure
Our 8-day / 7-night itinerary explores the Ari, Vaavu and Malé Atolls, starting and ending directly from Malé, with no domestic flights required. The route features colorful coral gardens, current-swept channels, thilas, giris and steep walls, with seasonal encounters with mantas and whale sharks.
Check-in is between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, with later check-in available on request. Check-out is between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM, including breakfast or take-away breakfast if requested.
A direct transfer from Malé International Airport (Velana) to the vessel is provided. No domestic flights are required, providing an easy and seamless start to the safari.
Diving
Kefi offers a high-end diving experience for certified and experienced divers, supported by the dedicated 14.5-meter dive dhoni Komas. The dhoni features:
5 wide entry and exit points with sturdy ladders
Freshwater showers and western-style toilets
Rinse basins for cameras, torches, computers and gear
Daily fresh towels
15-liter tanks available without prior request
Nitrox 32% included
Up to 3 guided dives per day are offered, including one night dive during the trip. Maximum dive time is 60 minutes, depending on air consumption, while night dives are limited to 50 minutes. The guide-to-diver ratio is 1:4–8.
A minimum of 30 logged dives is required, along with confidence in moderate currents and the ability to ascend independently using a safety buoy in a buddy team.
Divers are gradually introduced to faster descents and stronger currents, even if they are already experienced, rather than being placed immediately in challenging conditions. Dive briefings are conducted in English.
If needed, we offer refresher workshops on deploying surface marker buoys and using reef hooks. Guests are well cared for, with the crew attentive to each guest’s individual needs and preferences.
