Rate plans setup

Rate plans setup is found under the Prices tab of the left navigation bar

Rate plans are setup for each of the major types of bookings - individual, group, and full charter. In each rate plan, you need to identify the applicable booking policy and cancellation policy (from the options you specified earlier).

One standard rate plan is setup by default and is intended as the standard rate plan for individual sales. You can modify it or create additional independent rate plans to suit your needs. 

Tip: If you operate multiple vessels, you will need to setup rate plans for each vessel separately.

To modify a rate plan, click the triple dot symbol to the right of the rate plan and click 'edit'. Update the details as needed and click 'save'

To setup a new rate plan click 'add rate plan' on the right (under the applicable vessel)

Click 'save'

If you select 'free spaces', specify # number of paid spaces per # number of free spaces, as well as cabin type and occupancy offered for the free of charge space

If you select 'discount', specify the minimum number of paid guests, choose the rate plan for paid guests (i.e. 'standard'), and enter discount in % or amount.

Click 'save'

Tip: Group rate plan will be available in a dropdown when creating new options.
​To activate the group rate plan and use the 'free of charge' (FoC) or group discount, need to meet the minimum number of paid guests requirement preset here.

Compound rate plans for full charters aim at composing the Private Charter Rate based on the quotation per space (similar to group conditions). This will also affect the way quotation appears in the invoice, specifying the price per guest.

Tip: we recommend using a compound rate plan for charters in case you don’t have a fixed price for charters and base full charters quotations on group conditions

Advanced rate plan settings

Advanced rate plan settings allow you to create rate plans with different booking and cancellation policies. If your booking & cancellation policy differs depending on how far in advance the booking is made, you might like to set up advanced rate plans and encourage your customers to book accordingly.

Enable the setting to allow setting the number of days prior to the embarkation date when this rate plan should be active. Advanced rate plan settings can be used with any type of rate plan.
