Cabins Setup
Under Cabins (Settings tab of the left navigation bar) you can manage the details of the cabins on board of each of the vessels. Setup cabin types (such as Standard, Deluxe, etc.) and then add and customize individual cabins of each type.
Please make sure that cabin types & cabins setup in Inseanq are matching data provided via your integration with Inseanq (csv, API, etc.).
Tip : Total vessel capacity is based on the cumulative number of spaces you create as part of cabins setup.
How to setup cabins
Click 'add cabin type' to the right of the vessel on which you would like to create cabins and a window with cabin type details will open.
For each cabin type specify name, deck, size, bedding type (select from the drop-down provided), amenities (ensuite bathroom and air conditioning), possible occupancy types, and number of cabins of this cabin type. The specified number of identical cabins will be created, and each can be further customized.
Add text description to cabin type.
Use drag and drop or select up to 6 photos of cabin type. Once download is finished, drag the photos to set up an order in which they will be shown. The first photo in the list will be used as a main image of the cabin type. Add a short text description to the photos if required. Click Crop photo if you would like to resize the picture and select the displayed area. Click Save.
Click the trash icon if you would like to delete the picture.

βTip: Cabins of the same type are priced the same and must be located on the same deck. However, occupancies may differ in each of the cabins of the same type.
Occupancies are the different possible types of accommodation based on the available bedding, such as single, twin share or double (more than one type of occupancy may be specified).
Tip: If you have a cabin that has convertible beds and can accommodate 2 people, you can set the following occupancies: double / twin share / single.
Cabins that accommodate 3 guests can have several occupancy types:
Triple share: bedding configuration and your policies allow you to sell the cabin's three spaces to unrelated guests
Triple occupancy: triple cabin can be sold only to a family or to one group of guests (sharing by unrelated guests not permitted)
Twin share for triple cabin: allows to sell 2 spaces to unrelated guests in a triple cabin
Cabins that accommodate 4 guests can have several occupancy types:
Quad share: bedding configuration and your policies allow you to sell the cabin's four spaces to unrelated guests
Quad occupancy: quad cabin can be sold only to a family or to one group of 4 guests (sharing by unrelated guests not permitted)
Triple occupancy: quad cabin can be sold only to a family or to one group of 3 guests (sharing by unrelated guests not permitted)
Double occupancy: allows to sell spaces to 2 guests in a quad cabin (sharing by unrelated guests not permitted)
For dormitory cabins that accommodate more than 4 guests we suggest to use Bunk-Style Beds as a bedding type and 'Dormitory Share as available occupancy type'.
