How to setup booking & cancellation policies

Booking policies setup is found under the Prices tab of the left navigation bar.
You can create different booking policies for different types of sales - such as individual, group, full charter, no refund, etc. Booking policies are used to inform your customer about payment schedule for potential reservation.

One standard booking policy is setup by default, intended as a standard policy for individual sales. You can modify it or create additional booking policies.

New booking policy setup

To setup a new booking policy click 'create' on top of the screen
Specify the name of the booking policy

Next, add the required payments:

  • For the initial deposit, specify % (alternatively, you can specify $ amount) required before option expiry date

Click 'add condition' to create additional required payments

  • For subsequent progress payments, specify % (alternatively, you can specify $ amount) and number of days prior to embarkation date

Tip: Here's an example of a policy for individual bookings:
Name: Individual reservations
25% will be required before option expiry date
50% will be required in 180 days prior to the embarkation date
100% will be required in 30 days prior to embarkation date

Click 'save'

Editing a booking policy

To modify a booking policy click the triple dot symbol to the right of the policy and click 'edit'. Update the details as needed and click 'save'.

You can create different cancellation policies for different types of sales - such as individual, group, full charter, no refund, etc.

One standard cancellation policy is setup by default, intended as a standard policy for individual sales. You can modify it or create additional cancellation policies.

New cancellation policy setup

Cancellation policies are used to inform your customer about penalties applicable in case they will cancel their confirmed reservation.

To setup a new cancellation policy click 'create' on top of the screen
Specify the name of the cancellation policy

Next, add the charges:

  • Specify % (alternatively, you can specify $ amount), and select 'after reservation is secured with payment'

Click 'add condition' to create specify additional scenarios of cancellations, and

  • Specify % (alternatively, you can specify $ amount), and number of days prior to embarkation date

Tip: Here's an example of a policy for individual bookings:
Name: Individual reservations
25% will be charged if cancelled after the reservation is secured with a payment
100% will be charged if cancelled 29 days prior to the embarkation date

Click 'save'

Editing a cancellation policy

To modify a cancellation policy click the triple dot symbol to the right of the policy and click 'edit'. Update the details as needed and click 'save'.


Tip: Please ensure that your booking and cancellation policies are consistent with each other
