This is not a commercial liveaboard description, but straight forward B2B information that can be helpful for your knowledge and sales of Liveaboard Ilike.
Like many liveaboards in Indonesia, we are a traditional phinisi with all modern comfort. We have 8 cabins for max 16 divers. Below, you can find some of our USP’s. Reading them will give you a good impression of who we are and what we do.
With more than 20 years of experience as a travel agent in the diving industry, I know and feel your needs. I will be as flexible as possible and search together with you to make every request you have for me changed into a booking. Respect for our agents is high and support to them is unmatched.
We focus on experienced divers. Our dive guides are there to guide and show interesting marine life. They are not there to give courses or assist unexperienced divers. We require minimum 75 logged dives and advanced certification.
We have 4 dive guides for maximum 16 divers -> Ratio diver/dive guide of 4:1.
Our dive deck is one of the biggest and most comfortable in Indonesia. Every diver has his own seat with storage. Our crew will help you in every possible way: from carrying your equipment to the tenders, wash your equipment after every dive, to even help you in and out your wetsuit.
Our 2 spacious tenders have a capacity of 8 divers, but every dive group (max 4 divers + guide) will have a private ride to the dive sites. After the dive you hand over your equipment to our tender driver and climb the comfortable ladder.
Ilike has 2 engines of 320 HP each. Only few liveaboards in Indonesia have 2 engines, which makes us 1 of the fastest and safest liveaboards.
The Belgian owners are keen divers with many years of experience in the diving industry. This shows in the focus on diving comfort and going for the best dive sites without exception.
We are not only offering the popular dive destinations (Raja Ampat/Komodo), we have extensive knowledge and experience in exclusive dive sites like Triton Bay, Banda Sea, Maluku, Halmahera and more. We make combinations of dive areas and Ilike is capable of doing trips of 2 weeks and even longer.
