Add/delete guests function allows you to manage guests in an option.
There are two ways to access previously created options:
Under Options/booking module: click on the option reference # in blue
Under Availability module: click the trip to open details and then click on the option reference # in blue
Once the option screen is open on the right, click Guests and Add/delete guests.
To add guests: under the chosen cabin, select the applicable occupancy, specify gender and enter the full name of the newly added guest.
To delete guests: click the bin icon beside the guest you would like to remove from the option.
Tip: The amounts displayed when adding guests are booking amounts per guest before any surcharges or discounts.
Tip: Please note it’s only possible to add guests to existing reservation in case the original rate plan / special which has been used upon booking is still valid for the trip. In other cases only Delete functionality will be available and you will have to turn on corresponding rate plan / special accordingly if you would like to add guests
Click 'save changes'
Changes are logged after saving and payment request amounts are updated (by adding a payment or modifying amount of the final payment), and statuses of bookings may change accordingly.
Tip: If new options or bookings come in (or get cancelled) through widget or from agents while Fleet manager is using add/delete mode, changes are displayed in real time.
Add/delete for charter bookings
For charter bookings, add/delete has a few differences:
It is possible to add / delete guests to existing full charter reservation even in case the original full charter rate plan / special which has been used upon booking is not valid for the trip. Add / delete modal in case of full charter reservation doesn’t contain any prices.
Cabins / spaces which became available after deleting some of the guests will be displayed in trip details and guest’s tab in reservation details as not occupied.
Changes are logged after saving and payment request amounts are updated in case you have Taxes or Obligatory surcharges which should be paid in advance and you have changed the number of guests in reservation (by adding a payment or modifying amount of the final payment), and statuses of bookings may change accordingly.
