If guests are specifically interested in a trip that’s fully booked (all spaces being either booked or optioned at the time), our new functionality allows you to add them to a waiting list. Waiting List feature is available through the online booking engine so guests will be able to submit waiting list requests directly through Inseanq widget on your website. Such requests can also be submitted by agents through their portal, or you can add waiting list requests on your guests’ behalf through the Fleet manager portal.

Waiting List functionality is activated on sold out trips, and can be accessed through the Availability module.

Tip: Sold out status means that currently there are no open spaces for reservations, i.e., all of them are either optioned or booked

Click 'Get on Waiting list' button to the right of such trip and pop-up window will open

(Alternatively, click on the trip to zoom in and click 'Get on Waiting list' on the screen that opens up to the right).

Fill in the information in Waiting list pop-up:

  • Select Direct in case it’s your direct customer or Agent in case Waiting list request came from one of your resellers. In case you selected Agent the contact email will be prefilled. For direct customers please enter their email and phone number

  • Indicate customer’s title, name and family name

  • Enter the number of guests

  • Choose cabin types in which your customers are interested in. Select all cabin types in case they don’t have any strong preferences

  • Add any additional details in a text field if you would like to highlight some important information

  • Click Submit

If spaces open up, the guests (or agents if applicable) will be automatically notified via email and invited to proceed with booking.

The list of Waiting list requests is found under Options & bookings tab of the left navigation bar.

Waiting list request can be in one of three statuses:

  • Active: waiting list has been submitted and involved parties are waiting for the spaces to become available

  • Inactive: waiting list request which has been declined by the Vessel Operator

  • Spaces available: wait-listed spaces are available now and open for reservations

Tip: If you would like to decline a particular Waiting list request, click the triple dot symbol to the right of the request that you would like to decline and click ‘Decline’
