Availability is the core module which hosts the schedule of all your trips, along with the pricing details and number of spots in each of the three states - available, on option and booked. The filtering tools on top assist in identifying trips that meet the set criteria, such as date range, itinerary, cabin type and number of spaces available.
You can zoom in on any trip and review its details such as pricing, list of guests, occupancy types, source of options/bookings (i.e. direct or through which agent) and expiry dates for optioned spaces.
Furthermore, you can change trip status to 'confirmed', modify prices, initiate new options and move guests between cabins.
Adding new trips to the schedule
To add a new trip, click 'create' on top of the Availability screen
Select 'trip'
Select a vessel from the drop-down (if you only operate one vessel, skip this step)
Select a product from the drop-down (need to do products setup first)
Enter the start date (end date will be autofilled based on the product duration)
Select the departure port (autofilled if only one specified in product setup)
Select the return port (autofilled if only one specified in product setup)
Specify details in the comment box
Enter notes that will be visible only to you
Click 'save'
Tip: If you would like to create multiple trips in same session, click 'save & next' (rather than 'save') and details of next trip will be pre-filled for your convenience
Changing trip status
To update the trip status, click on the trip to zoom in and click on the status drop-down. Select 'confirmed' or 'not confirmed'. Available on Pro and Pro+ plans Trip status automation feature allows you to switch the trip statuses based on a pre-set number of optioned/booked spaces
Tip. Make sure that trip statuses are always up to date, as guests and agents may hesitate to book unconfirmed trips
Editing a trip
To modify a trip click the triple dot symbol to the right of the trip and click 'edit'
(Alternatively, click on the trip to zoom in and click 'edit' on the screen that opens up to the right)
Update the details as needed and click 'save'
Deleting a trip
To delete a trip click the triple dot symbol to the right of the trip and click 'edit'
Click 'delete'
Click 'delete' again on the pop-up screen to confirm
Tip: you cannot delete a trip if there are active options or bookings associated with it
